Wonderful mahogany Secretaire Abattant desk from the fabulous Victorian era in excellent antique condition complete with 2 x keys. Above the fall front there is a lockable drawer and below is two panelled doors which house 3 drawers with bun handles. Inside the fall front the interior is fitted with 4 oak lined stationery drawers, a locking central cupboard and a green baize writing surface all covered in the same gorgeous veneers as the outer finish. All the drawers run smooth and are constructed with dovetail joints. This is a striking example of period furniture with incredible graining and amazing patina offering not only storage and work space but history to any home.
