Handsome Edwardian mahogany chest on chest/ tallboy in excellent condition. Of neat proportions, this chest on chest separates into 2 sections which allows for easy transportation in and around your home. The top section consists of an attractive flared cornice and an arrangement of 4 long drawers. The base has 3 graduating drawers also with the addition of a pull-out brush slide and stands on 4 bracket feet. All drawers run smoothly featuring dovetail joints construction, flame mahogany veneers, cock bead edges and original swan shape handles. As with all antique furniture, there are some imperfections, but these only add to the charm and character of this solid chest of drawers. With its incredible colouring and amazing graining, this is a striking example of period furniture, offering ample storage space and a touch of history to any home.
