This exquisite Victorian bronze depicts a male figure on a wooden plinth, in excellent condition. The bronze portrays a musician seated on a stump, playing a Hurdy Gurdy, with a small dog at his feet. Adorned in a cloak and hat, and sporting a joyful expression, the craftsmanship of this piece is highly detailed.

Hurdy Gurdy is a mechanical violin played by turning a handle with keys worked by the left hand.
